Location change for Wednesday night classes - Starting on Wednesday, August 25th, 2010, we will no longer meet at the Fredericksburg VFW.  We have reached an agreement with Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation to have Wednesday evening dance classes at the Dorothy Hart Community Center.  The time remains the same - 7 - 9pm, but the price has been reduced to $5 per person.

From Route 1, turn onto Princess Anne Street towards downtown Fredericksburg.  Continue to the 2nd traffic light.  Turn right onto Canal Street.  Facility is located at the corner of Charles & Canal Street.  Parking is provided in the rear of the building.

Dance at the Eagles Club with Ho-Kiss Po-Kiss - June 5th - The Fredericksburg Eagles Club was hopping to the sounds of Ho-Kiss Po-Kiss.  If you have never seen this band then you are missing a fun-filled evening of laughs and dancing and entertainment!

Dance at the Lake Anna Winery - May 28th

Another fun-filled evening of dancing and socializing.  Once again we had a tremendous showing of support from our group of dancers.  If you weren't there you missed a great evening!  Please watch our Events Calendar for the next Lake Anna Winery Social Event.

Dance at the Lake Anna Winery - Mar 26th

A fun-filled evening of dancing and socializing.  We had a great turn out and outstanding time.  This event has been successful enough to become a 'once a month' social and dance.  There may be live music . . . stay tuned!

VFW Dance with the Donnie Stevens Band - Mar 20th

Another fun-filled evening at the VFW in Fredericksburg.  We had a nice size crowd with lots of dancing and different dances.  We also celebrated the 85th birthday of Mr. James Marshall.  It was a fantastic evening!

Road Trip to the Cancun Cantina - Mar 12th

Two members from our dance group, Monty & Bev, took a trip to the Cancun Cantina near the BWI Airport.  Here is their analysis and feedback!

"Cancun Cantina is a high energy place with a country theme. In the early evening it caters to the older crowd and couples dancing. However, when the DJ gets fired up the focus turns mostly to line dancing. If you venture there, be prepared for a crowd that puts Nick's to shame in terms of size.  Also know that there will be at least four people/couples within inches of you.  Just hope everyone keeps their elbows in!"

Dance at the Lake Anna Winery - Feb 26th

Another wonderful evening of dancing and socializing.  This event was so successful that a 'once a month' dance is almost eminent.  The evening was fun-filled with dancing, wine tasting and merriment.

VFW Dance with the Donnie Stevens Band - Jan 16th

Wonderful and fun-filled evening.  Great music, great friends, new friends and fancy foot work.  We danced the night away!!
